Returns Policy

Wearside Plumbing Supplies Ltd will deliver goods of the type and description purchased which are of satisfactory quality and are fit for the purpose to perform the function for which they are manufactured.

Return of Goods
In order to return products to Wearside Plumbing Supplies the following stipulation of return of goods applies:

1) On receipt of goods all packaging must be carefully removed and the goods inspected for visual faults. If a fault is found you must notify Wearside Plumbing Supplies on 0191 510 3993 within 72 hours of delivery. The goods must then be repackaged in their original packaging and kept in a safe environment until collection is made. Should you fail to inform us of visual faults within 72 hours the goods will have been deemed to have been accepted by you, the consumer and no further liability will be accepted by Wearside Plumbing Supplies Ltd.

2) Fitted goods which appear to be faulty must remain fitted until we can arrange for an independent plumber / fitter to inspect the goods plumbed in. The independent plumber / fitter will then evaluate whether the goods are faulty through manufacture or if the goods have been incorrectly installed or badly fitted. Faulty goods will be repaired or replaced depending on the fault and the job made good. Goods which have been damaged through incorrect installation or are faulty because they are badly fitted will not be covered under our guarantee under any circumstances and an inspection call out charge may become due. Incorrectly installed goods are the responsibility of the plumber / fitter who originally installed the goods under ‘The Supply of Goods and Services Act’ and are not the responsibility of Wearside Plumbing Supplies Ltd.

3) Goods which are no longer required but in their original packaging and as new may be accepted as returnable at Wearside Plumbing Supplies discretion. We will not accept as returnable, goods with damaged or missing packaging or goods which have been installed.

A RESTOCKING CHARGE OF 25% MAY BE LEVIED ON THESE GOODS
